Exam Schedule

Exam and assessment standards for secondary school students

Starting in the 2026-2027 school year, students will write mandatory written exams on official exam days in most subjects. These exams will count toward final marks.

This helps students understand how their marks are calculated, prepares them for college or university and ensures consistent assessment practices across grades 9-12.

Exam Schedule

The exam schedule will be posted on our social media (Facebook & Instagram) closer to the exam time.

What happens on the Exam Day?

Buses will run on their regular schedule. A medical certificate will be required if a student misses an exam.

Students remaining at school for the day will be supervised in a quiet study hall (learning commons) for the remainder of the day, unless parental permission is given for students to leave the school. These arrangements should be made in advance.

Secondary students who do not have a scheduled exam for a certain day, are not required to report to school that day.

Inclement Weather

Should there be inclement weather or another reason to cancel busses or close the school on one exam day, the exam and all subsequent exams will be pushed back to the next scheduled exam day.
